This hit shield is sturdy and well made. It should take lots of abuse. The elastic gets weak and stretched out over time - it would be better if the elastic was sewn inside a tubular webbing, to protect it and limit how far it stretches.

I bought my own since this is what my instructor uses. it lets me spar with my husband and not hurt him. My hammerfist is a bit weak, but my palm strikes will knock him down!
