Ricardo Lamas (born May 21, 1982) is an American mixed martial arts fighter. He currently fights as a lightweight in WEC. Lamas trains with Team Top Notch in Elmhurst, Illinois. Ricardo is a personal trainer and assistant wrestling coach at Elmhurst College. He currently holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu under Jeff Neal. Ricardo's MMA record is 9-1. Ricardo said in one of his interviews that his favorite thing about MMA was that anyone could beat anybody on any given day, and he would want to stay in this sport for as long as his body would let him. |
