Roxy Balboa

Roxy "Balboa" Richardson was born in Milan, Italy on January 6th 1978. She graduated from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA in 2000 with Bachelor degree in Communications & Psychology. Roxy moved to Los Angeles in 2002 where she took up Muay Thai for fun. Six months later she had her first fight and was hooked.

As Roxy continued to grow as a fighter she discovered she found so much enjoyment in fitness & health that she studied to gain her personal trainer certification and began teaching Muay Thai and taking personal fitness clients.

Today Roxy is an active pro full rules Muay Thai fighter. She holds the IAMTF Women's Lightweight belt and has fought many top ranked opponents. She also runs a fitness studio, RoxyFit where she teaches Muay Thai, strength and conditioning, small group classes and counsels clients in nutrition and wellness. RoxyFit is the only women owned and operated fitness studio of its kind in the world. Roxy's certifications include: ACE Personal Trainer, CrossFit Level 1, AFPA Nutrition & Wellness Counselor, AFPA Sports Nutrition Counselor. Roxy is constantly expanding her fitness and health credentials to offer more services to her clients.
