On October 23, 2010, Vicente Jr. De La Riva, Kail Bosque and his father Gil Bosque from Conquest BJJ competed in the IBJJF Miami International Open. IBJJF Miami Open is a big tournament showcasing some of the best athletes that Jiu jitus has to offer. Conquest BJJ's co-owner and instructor Kail Bosque placed 2nd in 154 lb and under Adult Purple Belt division, beating one of his guys 24 to 0!  Kail's father and student, Gil Bosque, competed in his first tournament ever - and got gold in the senior 3 blue belt division.  Both athletes thank their instructor Vicente Jr. and Revgear for all of the support they have given.
