In November 2009 Joel Mickells got his Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. And last weekend – February 20, 2010 - Joel competed for the first time as a Blue Belt  in the Best of the Best BJJ Pro Ams in Omaha, Nebraska.

He placed first in Blue Belt Gi in 167 lb and below, and second in No-Gi 154 lb. Joel says that overall it was a good and fun experience and he’s looking forward to another great year of accomplishments with Revgear!
