Shark Fights 9 brought the crowd of nearly 3,500 in Cal Farley Coliseum in Amarillo, Texas on March 20, 2010.  The event featured 8 MMA fights including one Title Fight: Doug Evans retained his Shark Fights featherweight championship with a victory in the main event Dustin Phillips 2:25 into the first round. Shark Fights 10 is set for April 24 at Lubbock Fair Park Coliseum.
