Rob Mooney Wins at Hardrock MMA 27

Oct 26th 2010

In the last two months, Revgear fighter Rob Mooney fighting out of Elizabethtown and Bowling Green Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo has put together back to back submission wins, improving his professional record to 3-1.

On 9/25/10, Mooney defeated Joshua Bell by rear naked choke at 3:44 of Round 1 at an All American MMA show.

Most recently, on 10/23/10, Mooney defeated Eric Slocum by darce choke in the third round at Hardrock MMA 27: The Return of The Fantastic Four.  Having fought his first three fights at middleweight, Mooney met Slocum at a 175 pound catchweight. As he continues his professional career, Mooney has decided to test the waters at welterweight.

Mooney had this to say after his win: " I would like to thank Revgear for continuing to support me as I work toward my goals. I recently received fight gear and training equipment from Revgear and it was integral in my preparations for my fight against Slocum, especially the Revgear grappling dummy. Being able to work with that on a daily basis has added a whole new dimension to my training, both technique and strength."
