Roxy Richardson Is Training Hard

On December 5, 2009 Roxy "Balboa" Richardson is going to fight at WCK Full Rules Muay Thai event. Unfortunately her original opponent - Yannan Zheng broke her hand, and the promoter found a replacement - Christina (Martin) Riddering. Christina agreed to 3x3 minute rounds for a non-title fight.
Roxy writes in her training blog: "I actually fought Christina 3 years ago in an amateur title fight, but lost by decision. Since that fight I have had 7 fights: 6 wins (3 by KO) and 1 draw. Christina, who turned Pro with an MMA fight in November of 07, took time off to have a baby and is now back after 2 years. There's no doubt that Christina was a tough opponent for me 3 years ago, but I am a different fighter now. Stronger, more focused and I carry more tools in my tool box than before ;) It should prove an exciting fight as I expect we will both come strong and prepared for battle." Read more>>>
